'Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw' is Kris' Last Soap
Host-actress Kris Aquino said her hit show "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw" with Robin Padilla and Anne Curtis will be her last television series.
"Thanks but last na ang KKI ('Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw') ... My last teleserye," Aquino told one of her Twitter followers on Wednesday night who praised her for improving as an actress.
But Aquino stressed that she's not retiring from show business.
"I’m not retiring, just prioritizing. It was my dream to become an actress but my talent isn’t in becoming a character, but just being me," Aquino said.
Aside from "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw," Aquino also has her daily talk show "KrisTV." She will also be returning as one of the three judges for the fourth season of "Pilipinas Got Talent," which starts airing on February 16.
She said her morning talk show "remains strong" and provides "an excellent venue" for her to connect with her fans. As for "Pilipinas Got Talent," she reported that management is "so optimistic because it is fresh."
Aquino also hinted about a new show.
"There’s a new show in the horizon and I know you will enjoy that because you keep telling me you miss me in that format. Things do fall into place," Aquino announced on Twitter.
Her followers believe the new show could be a game show. Aquino was the original host of "Kapamilya Deal or No Deal" and "Game KNB."
