Kim Sets Aside 'Issue' with Maja While on Set
The production staff behind the top-rating series “Ina Kapatid Anak” belied speculations that the rift between actresses Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador are taking its toll on the hit series.
Salvador and Chiu made headlines recently when the "Pinoy Big Brother" winner broke her silence on reports that Salvador, whom she considers her best friend, is now dating her former boyfriend Gerald Anderson.
Saying she was surprised by the turn of events, Chiu said “nasayang, yeah 'yung friendship namin ni (Maja).”
But in an interview with ABS-CBN News on Sunday, Chiu said they enjoy a good working atmosphere at the set.
Setting aside her supposed rift with Salvador, Chiu said what’s important is they deliver a good story for the viewers.
“Wala namang [intriga]. Ang importante 'yung trabaho, trabaho naman. And sa mga feedback, sa mga napapanood nila ngayon na nagagandahan sila and natutuwa sila sa kuwento, natutuwa na rin kami and nai-inspire kami na magtrabaho ng mas maayos,” she said.
“Siguro 'yung mga artista na nakapaligid sa amin, sobrang magagaling and nadadala nila kami sa kung paano sila umarte, ganun na rin kami. Kasi siyempre nakakahiya para sa amin kung hindi namin ibigay ang 100% percent namin. And siyempre 'yung story maganda,” she said.
Chiu then invited all her supporters to watch out for the new revelations that will air on the show on Monday night.
“Maraming mangyayari. Another revelation na naman ang ibibigay namin sa mga audience. Basta abangan nila and siyempre and debut ni Celina and Margaux,” she said. Full Story
